Job status
Each job moves through five steps, and most of them move on their own as you work.
The five steps
- Draft: you’re measuring and pricing.
- Pending: the estimate has gone to the customer.
- Deposit taken: a deposit has been recorded.
- In progress: the fitting has started.
- Completed: the job is done.
What moves by itself
- Sending the estimate moves the job to Pending.
- Recording a deposit moves it to Deposit taken.
- On the day of a fitting booking linked to the job, it moves to In progress.
- When the final invoice is paid, the app asks Mark the job as completed? Tap Mark completed. A job never becomes Completed without you saying so.
Change it by hand
- Open the job. Tap the status in the strip at the top to jump to the status bar.
- Tap the step you want.
If you set a job back by hand, the fitting day won’t move it on again.
Cancel or reopen a job
Under the status bar, tap Mark job as cancelled. A cancelled job keeps its documents and payments, but it’s left out of money due and deposit totals. To bring it back, tap Reopen job, or tap a step on the status bar.
Good to know
- On the Jobs list, filter by status to see, say, every job waiting for a deposit.
- If your role can’t record payments, you can’t set Deposit taken by hand: it’s set when a deposit is recorded.
