Save or share a cutting plan PDF
The cutting plan PDF is what you or your fitter cut from: the roll drawn to scale, with every room’s code and size and where to cut across.
Make the PDF
- On the cutting plan, tap View, then Cutting plan preview.
- Set Stretch rooms if you want it, or leave it Off for real room sizes.
- Tap Save to job to keep a copy with the job, or Export and choose Save to device or Share PDF.
Saved copies are under Documents › Cutting plan PDFs on the job, ready to attach when you send documents.
What’s on it
- The plan name and job number.
- The roll’s Length, Width, Total Area and Waste Area.
- Room key: each room’s code, name, size and area. Odd shapes list their edge lengths, starting on the top edge and going clockwise. A patterned product shows its pattern repeat.
- Each staircase in its own section, piece by piece in the order you fit them, from the top or the bottom of the stairs.
- Guillotine Cut Lines: the points where you can cut straight across the roll without going through a piece, measured from the start of the roll.
- Cut Sizes: the length and width of each section between those lines.
A long roll runs over more than one page, with the part of the roll shown on each.
Good to know
- Sizes follow the order you chose in your settings, length first or width first. The headings say which.
- With Stretch rooms on, the room sizes and waste on the PDF are the stretched ones, as in the preview.
