Look around the example job

The example job is a finished 3-bed semi you can open and look around, so you can see what the app does before you add your own work.

Open it

1. Go to Jobs. Near the top, under Get started, is a card called Example: 3-bed semi.
2. Tap Have a look. The first time, the app sets it up, which takes a moment.
3. The job opens with an Example tag at the top.

What’s in it

• Five areas: Lounge, Hall, Stairs, Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2.
• A twist pile carpet in Oatmeal, with PU underlay 10 mm, gripper and fitting.
• A cutting plan and an estimate.
• The example uses your currency, units and language.

What it won’t do

• It’s never counted in your totals, numbers or reports.
• Its estimate can’t be saved or sent. Make a job of your own to send estimates.
• It sits apart from your own jobs in the list.

Remove it

Tap Delete on the card. If you change your mind straight away, tap Undo on the message that appears. If you delete the card before opening it, the example isn’t made.

Who can do this? The Owner, and Office on the Team plan.
