Cutting plans
Every room nested on the roll, pile one way.
Measure the rooms, pick the roll width and tap Arrange. WeavaWorx packs the pieces tight, shows the roll length and the waste, and exports a cutting plan your fitter can cut from.
Arrange · Stretch rooms
Less carpet.
Fewer cuts.
- As measured · 13.76 m · 45% wasteAn L-shaped lounge, the hall, the landing, a staircase in five pieces and four small rooms, in the order they were added.
- Arrange · 8.24 m · 8% wastePieces are nested tight against each other and the roll edge: a winder, the landing and the hall in the lounge’s corner, the stairs and the small rooms packed in below. The pile still runs one way.
- Stretch rooms · 0.05 m² wasteIn the preview, turn up the Stretch rooms slider and the pieces grow into the gaps beside them until the edges line up: a simpler plan, with fewer lines to cut.
Your plan, your way
Plan it for me, or move it myself
Arrange lays out the roll in one tap. If you’d rather cut it another way, drag any room or stair piece to where you want it, turn it, and save when it looks right. Undo and Redo let you try a few layouts first.
- Drag and turn Move pieces by hand on the roll and turn rooms where the pile allows.
- Re-plan any time Changed a size? Tap Arrange again, or keep your own layout.
- On screen or PDF Show the plan in the app on site, or send the PDF to the fitter or the shop.
Planning style
Fill or Guillotine
Fill packs awkward shapes as tight as they will go. Guillotine lays the pieces in rows of straight cuts across the roll. Either way, you can drag any piece by hand before you save the plan to the job.
- Any roll width The product’s widths, or your own up to 10 m.
- Room labels Room names, or short codes like LNG, HAL and ST1.
Stretch rooms
Clean rectangles, straight cuts
Tap View, open the cutting plan preview and turn up the Stretch rooms slider. Every piece grows into the gaps beside it until the edges line up, so the plan your fitter follows is made of simple shapes.
- You set how far The slider sets how far a piece can grow, and the waste updates as you slide.
- Stairs too Straight stairs grow together; pieces fill their free sides.
Wider than the roll
Joins without the guesswork
When a room is wider than the roll, its room card tells you by how much and offers three ways forward. Add a join, the recommended one, opens the room editor so you choose where the seam goes. Use a cutting plan lets the plan add the join for you. Or ignore the warning. Each piece of a joined room can have its own roll width: the narrowest that fits, or one you choose.
