Use your price list
Your price list keeps the carpets, flooring, labour and extras you sell, with their prices, ready to add to any job.
Fill your price list
- Go to Settings › Price list and tap Add. Choose the section, fill in the card and tap Save. The card is the same one you see on a job.
- Starting out? Tap Add your everyday prices and fill in what you charge for fitting, uplift and disposal, underlay, gripper, door profiles and so on. Leave any blank to skip it.
- From a job: open an item’s ⋯ menu and tap Save to price list. If it’s already there, choose Update the price or Save as new.
- From a supplier’s file: see Import a supplier price list.
Add from it on a job
When you add a product, underlay, labour or any other item, your price list comes first. Search it, pick the item and then choose the rooms. Pick Empty for a blank item instead.
When a price changes
Changing the price list never changes a job or a sent estimate. If a job’s item came from the list and the list price has since changed, the item shows both prices: “Price list now …” with this job’s price beside it. Tap Use the new price or Keep.
Supplier prices and profit
Each item can have an optional Supplier price as well as your selling price. Supplier prices are hidden from customers and never go on estimates or invoices. With them filled in, the job shows a Profit figure.
Who can do this? On the Team plan, only the Owner or Office can change the price list and see supplier prices. Everyone else can add items from it to jobs.
Good to know
- Mark the items you use most as a Favourite.
- An item priced in another currency can’t be added to a job in your currency. Exchange rates aren’t guessed.
- Deleting an item from the price list doesn’t touch jobs or estimates that already use it.
