Import a supplier price list

Import a supplier’s price list once, check the rows, then tick the ranges you sell so they come first when you add to a job.

Which plans? Excel and CSV files work on every plan. PDF price lists are read by AI on Pro Plus and Team, up to 20 PDF lists a month.

Import the file

1. Go to Settings › Supplier price lists and tap Import a price list.
2. Type the supplier’s name, then Choose a file (.xlsx, .xls, .csv or PDF).
3. For Excel or CSV, tap the row with the column headings, then Match the columns: range or name, colour, roll width, price and so on. The app remembers each supplier’s layout, so next time it’s done for you.
4. If the list only has the supplier’s price, add a markup or leave your selling price blank. If prices include VAT, you can take it off.
5. Tap Check rows. Look at any rows under To look at, such as a missing price or a price that looks 100 times too big, and choose a section for each row.
6. Tap Next, tick the ranges you sell for My products, and tap Save.

Nothing is saved until you tap Save. If you stop part way, the import is kept on the device and you can Continue it later.

A new list from the same supplier

Open the supplier and tap Import a new list from this supplier. Before you save, the app shows what changed: prices up, prices down, new ranges and ranges gone. Tick Update the prices in My products too to bring your products up to date. Jobs and sent estimates don’t change.

Good to know

• Excel and CSV files are read on your device and never leave it.
• A long PDF takes a few minutes. You can leave the page and the app tells you when it’s ready to check. With no signal, it waits and is read when you’re back online.
• Only send lists you’re allowed to share.
• On the Team plan, only the Owner or Office can read PDF price lists.
