Change the language, currency or units

Pick your app language, the language of your documents, your currency, metric or imperial, and how sizes are written.

Open Settings › Language, currency and units.

Language

The app comes in English (GB), English (US), Deutsch, Français, Español and Nederlands.

• Language is the language you see in the app. It’s yours, and the same in every business you work in.
• Language for documents and emails is the business’s. Estimates, invoices and emails from the business use it, whatever language each person’s app is in.

Currency and units

• Currency: $, £, € and more.
• Measurement Unit: Imperial (ft, ft²) or Metric (m, m²).
• Write sizes as: Length × width or Width × length. The example under it shows how a room will read, and size boxes in the app follow the same order.

Time zone

Booking times, due dates and reminders use the business time zone. When you change the currency or the business’s country, the app checks the time zone. If the country has more than one, it asks Which time zone is your business in?: choose yours and tap Use this time zone. If your time zone isn’t one of that country’s, it shows Check the business time zone so you can change it or keep it. The app never changes it without asking.

Who can do this? Anyone can change their own app language. The Owner and Office change the business’s document language, currency, units and size order.
