Make a floor plan PDF

Export the floor plan as a PDF to give the customer or the installers a clear drawing of the job.

Export it

1. Open the floor plan and tap Export PDF on the toolbar. On a computer, Ctrl+E does the same.
2. The PDF is made and saved with the job, and a preview opens. Pinch to zoom and drag to move round it.
3. Tap Download or Share from the preview if you need a copy now.

Every PDF you make is kept under Documents › Floor plan PDFs on the job, ready to attach when you send documents.

What’s on it

• One page for each level (US Letter or A4), with the level’s name.
• Your business name and logo at the top.
• Each room filled with its product’s color, with its name and area and the size of every wall. Small rooms show their code, listed under the legend.
• Placed transition strips, stair step lines and join lines.
• The Room materials & colors legend.
• A scale bar and the approximate scale.

Good to know

• The PDF is a snapshot. If you change the plan, export it again.
• In Floor plan PDFs you can select several to download, share or delete at once.
• A PDF made on another device shows once it has synced. If it says it isn’t ready yet, connect and try again.
• On the Team plan, an installer can delete only the floor plan PDFs they made themselves.
