Add carpet or flooring to a job

Each job’s carpet and flooring sit under Products. Add the product, then choose the rooms it goes in.

Add a product

1. Open the job and, under Materials, tap Add product.
2. Pick an item under From your price list, or start a New product of the right kind (see below).
3. Fill in the brand, range and color, and the price.
4. Tap Choose rooms and check the rooms. You can also pick the product on each room’s card.

The kinds of product

• Carpet: ordered in roll widths. Works with cutting plans.
• Flooring · Plank: laminate, LVT, wood. Ordered in packs.
• Flooring · Tile: carpet tiles, LVT tiles. Ordered in packs.
• Flooring · Roll: vinyl sheet. Roll widths and cutting plans, like carpet.

Roll products

Check the Available widths the product comes in, or add a Custom width. Set the Extra length per cut you add to every cut for trimming. Price it per sq ft or as a Flat rate. More in Roll widths, prices and pattern repeat.

Planks and tiles

Enter the plank or tile size, the Quantity per pack and the Extra material %. Price per sq ft, Per pack or as a Flat rate. Switch on Order full packs only to round up to whole packs.

Good to know

• Floor plan color sets how the product shows on the floor plan and its PDF. It isn’t the supplier’s color name.
• To swap one product for another, use Replace product on its menu. The app shows which rooms and cutting plans move across and how the price changes before you confirm.
• A room with no product isn’t in the totals. The Summary lists any such rooms with a Fix link.
• Roll flooring used on a cutting plan stays a roll product until you take it off the plan.
