Check storage and free up space on this device

See how much of your plan’s storage you’ve used and clear files kept on this phone or computer for offline use.

Open Settings › Storage, under This device. There are three bars.

Storage used

How much of your plan’s storage you’ve used. Photos, PDFs, logos, profile images and attachments all count. This is the same wherever you sign in. See Your storage allowance and what happens when it’s full.

Used on this device

Recently viewed photos and PDFs are kept on the device so you can open them with no signal, in a basement for example. Older files download again when you open them.

Available to this app

The space this device lets the app use. It isn’t your phone’s total free space.

Clear cached files

1. Tap Clear cached files.
2. Tap Clear cached files again to confirm. The app tells you how much it freed.

Good to know

• Clearing only removes the copies on this device. Nothing is deleted from your jobs, and it doesn’t free any of your plan’s storage.
• Cleared files download again next time you open them, if you’re online. Before heading somewhere with no signal, open the photos and PDFs you’ll need.
• Files still waiting to upload are never cleared.
